Many of the scholarships have a "mail by..." date written on them; this date is only for those who do not plan on having the guidance office provide information or do mailing. We ask that parents who are assisting their students in completing scholarships honor the due date that is provided for them.

Amount: $ 500 Due Date: 2010-03-16
Must be accepted at an accredited college, must be a non-tobacco user, must be pursuing further education in a health/environmental field, must be involved somehow in the game of golf.
# 0 Maine Legislative Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $ 1000 Due Date: 2010-03-16
Any senior accepted and planning on attending a two or four year accredited Maine school. Requirements are: academic excellence, community service and financial need. www.mesfoundation.com

Amount: $ variable Due Date: 2010-03-16
Any senior accepted to and going to a Maine school for any of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Machine Tool Technician, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, CADCAM for Metals Industry. www.mesfoundation.com

This scholarship is for a senior who has made a meaningful contribution to animal protection over a significant period of time.

Any senior who has had a family member diagnosed with cancer, or any senior who has participated in the breast cancer walk may apply. You must be accepted into a post secondary institution before you apply.

Amount: $ 5000 Due Date: 2010-04-01
Any graduating senior from a Maine high school planning on attending either a four or two year program at an accredited college or university may apply. Academic performance and potential, community service and financial need will be taken into consideration. $1250 per year up to $5000.

Scholarship is for any senior graduating with a GPA >or= 3.5 and will be majoring in the arts (visual, performance, music, literary art or other art forms).

Any senior going into the hospitality industry. This can be in the culinary arts or the hotel administration venue. Must be going to an accredited school.

Scholarship given in memory of Tyson Perry; any senior going on to post secondary school may apply. There will be three winners in Aroostook County.

This scholarship will be given to a student enrolled in programs involving emergency medicine.
# 0 Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $ 3000+ Due Date: 2010-05-01
Any student going to college and who will experience a substantial financial burden doing it may apply. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater, must be involved in community and school.
