Many of the scholarships have a "mail by..." date written on them; this date is only for those who do not plan on having the guidance office provide information or do mailing. We ask that parents who are assisting their students in completing scholarships honor the due date that is provided for them.

Process of getting a scholarship:
# 43 Maine Agri-Women
Amount: $ 300 Due Date: 2008-05-15
Senior must have worked two seasons in a natural resource industry (ex: potato harvest, rock picking, cutting broccoli, trimming trees, or horticulture. Must have verification letter from employer.
# 34 BEAM Scholarship
Amount: $ Variable Due Date: 2008-05-30
Senior going into Business Administration or Computer Technology Program
# 40 MSNA Nursing Scholarship
Amount: $ 1000 Due Date: 2008-07-01
Senior attending an accredited nursing program in Maine. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must be enrolled in six credit hours or more... This is a legacy scholarship so preferential consideration will be given to a family member of an MSNA member.

Amount: $ 2500 Due Date: 2008-07-30

# 0 Oppportunity Maine Tax Credit
Amount: $ variable Due Date: 2008-12-31
The Opportunity Maine Tax Credit Program gives all students who choose to go to college in Maine and live and work in the state after graduating access to the Opportunity Tax Credit. They will be eligible for a Maine Tax credit in the amount that they will be paying out in yearly student loan payments.
